About this course

Advance your skills as you create and finish forms in sheet metal using techniques such as forging, sinking and box making. You can also learn to make a range of metal fasteners for boxes and discover methods for making catches, clasps, actions for sprung lids, slides and other devices, in both silver and base metals.


John Norgate

John Norgate a Fellow of the Institute of Professional Goldsmiths. Trained at Aspreys and Sir John Cass where he also taught for many years. In 2010 he was a gold and silver award winner at Goldsmiths for craftsmanship and design.
