Learn to make fluid, fashionable and wearable clothes without a traditional dress pattern. Starting with calico fabric you gain experience of how to structure, plan and piece a garment, before working on your own design, to sew creatively with the patterned, striped or textured fabrics of your choice. Suitable for those with some sewing/dressmaking experience.

Carmen Rion

Carmen Rion is a researcher and fashion designer, awarded for her pioneering role in the rescue of traditional Mexican textiles and their integration into contemporary fashion, in Mexico and around the world. Carmen studied graphic and textile design at Universidad Iberoamericana Mexico DF and Mastered in textile and graphic design at Allgemeinekunstgewerbeschulle, Basel, Switzerland.
