Learn how to make a sculptural headpiece or hat using sinamay cut on the bias. You will shape and manipulate the material to form lightweight structures, using couture techniques including wiring, stitching and dyeing to create your own unique design.


Sarah Marshall

Sarah is a London based milliner and manager of John Boyd Hats where she has worked for 11 years. Previously Sarah studied 3D Design at Falmouth University specialising in sculptural textiles. She completed an apprenticeship with milliner Jane Corbett and has worked on projects with artist Anthony Gormley and jewellery company Pandora.
