Revealing the narrative in wood – sculptural carving with Wycliffe Stutchbury

Ref: S3D07934

Suitable for all

Discover the essence of timber's beauty through sculptural carving. You will take a walk in the West Dean woodland to seek out a tree branch which has a characteristic that appeals to you. Once back in the workshop you will set about enhancing and focusing on that element, through different carving and texture treatments, shaping and material removal, to reveal the story behind the tree.
