About this course

Make a beautiful copperfoiled glass holly wreath, using coloured glass and glass nuggets to decorate your home for Christmas.

Course Description

This course is suitable for those who have had some recent previous experience of glass cutting or who have taken a related course, ie. a one day course such as copperfoiled glass stars or coloured glass Christmas decorations one day courses.

Please note: You will spend most of the day standing up and you may find it physically tiring.

Students should arrive by 9am for registration.

Classes are from 9.15 - 5pm

Lunch is included.

  • The course fee includes the cost of the materials required for the course.

What students need to bring

  • An apron or other overall/old clothes and sturdy footwear, that covers the foot (essential)
  • A face mask to wear when cementing and cleaning your panel
Please note: If you are pregnant or breast feeding, you should consult your GP before enrolling on this course, as working with lead and solder can be harmful to the developing baby. You must not wear open shoes or have bare legs (even if the weather is warm) in the workshop. Please do not wear loose clothing or dangly jewellery, as it may get caught in machinery. Long hair must be tied back.

Carole Gray

Carole Gray trained in three-dimensional design at Middlesex University. She is a member of the Contemporary Glass Society and the British Society of Master Glass Painters.
