Create individual jewellery and designs. Develop your ideas through drawing, and be guided to realise your jewellery in three-dimensions. Techniques are demonstrated according to your needs. Beginners will be given a set project of making a simple ring to introduce the basic techniques of working with silver.
Please note: if you would like to make small silver items, you should book onto a one day silversmithing workshop (found in the short course metalworking category on the website).
Your experience and complexity of your idea will determine what you can achieve on a one day workshop. If you would like to discuss your idea with the tutor prior to booking, please email bookingsoffice@westdean.org.uk.
Timetable for one day courses
Students should arrive by 9am for registration.
Classes are from 9.15 - 5pm
Lunch is included.
