Do you need a smart leather slip case for a favourite pen or comb? Perhaps a sheath for a knife or favourite pair of scissors; or a tip to cover that special tool or blade?
On this relaxed one-day workshop, you will make an expertly finished and high-end leather accessory. You will make a unique case for a particular shaped item belonging to you, and learn how to create cardboard patterns and cutting templates to fit your item.
Working alongside you, your tutors Jeremy and Carla will demonstrate each step and process, and the traditional hand tools and techniques to complete them. This will include: -
• marking out the leather
• cutting out the leather using your template
• marking out for punch holes
• punching stitch holes
• hand stitching
• finishing edges
• riveting & press stud fixing
