£143This in-depth introduction covers all aspects of natural light portraiture including posing the model, light position, light quality, the importance of background, practical use of depth of field, lens choice, composition and light modification. The day is split into a morning practical and an afternoon Adobe Lightroom editing session, concluding with a critique of the images taken on the day.
Please note that while the tutor will give instruction on the relevant aspects of Adobe Lightroom software, basic computer skills and familiarity with your camera will be assumed.

Classes are from 9.15 - 5pm

Roy has been a commercial photographer since the mid 1980's having started his career as a studio assistant before becoming freelance in the early 1990's. He has worked in many different genres including studio, reportage, architectural, portraiture, editorial and sport. Always keen to pursue his personal work as a balance to the commercial world he has been widely published and has exhibited in many locations over the years.
