About this course

Use an inspiring array of sumptuous threads and your own sewing machine to sew pictures for a jewellery item or embroidered embellishment, and learn the skills to continue machine embroidery at home.

Course Description

Machine embroidery can be used and adapted into numerous textile projects and crafts ideas. Working with your own sewing machine, create your own stitched picture, jewellery item or embroidery embellishments and gain the confidence to continue stitching at home.

Explore the numerous techniques and textures created by threads and stitch, not to mention the delight of sewing and working with colour, with an inspiring array of sumptuous threads to use and try out, in different weights, thicknesses and make-up compounds.

You will be embroidering onto a cotton fabric and working with the magical soluble fabric, where all the fabric disappears and only the sumptuous machine embroidery stitch is left!

This one-day machine embroidery workshop is suitable for both beginners and more confident stitchers who wish to try this wonderful medium.
