About this course

Discover the exciting possibilities of using fusing techniques to form glass in the kiln. With a focus on colour and texture, you will make small glass decorations for your home.

Course Description

This one day course introduces beginners to the exciting possibilities of warm glass, using fusing techniques to form glass in the kiln. With a focus on colour and texture, you will be making small glass decorations.

Martin is a master of fused glass mosaics and by popular demand has on hand, hundreds of fused glass pieces to choose from that you can experiment with in your own creations during this workshop.

By the end of the day you will have created a number of glass fusions. In producing this work, you will have learnt how to cut glass and the tutor will also explain what happens to the glass during the firing cycle and glass compatibility.

We will cover simple glass cutting to cut straight lines, circles and strips.
