Dr Noel Kingsbury is a plantsman, designer, writer and lecturer. He has a PhD from Sheffield University where he has undertaken research on perennial plant selection. He used to run his own nursery near Bristol and now lives in Herefordshire with his partner Jo. He writes for various magazines and newspapers including Gardens Illustrated and has many books to his name.
