Outstanding learning and performing opportunities for classical guitarists of all ages (16 and above) through repertoire and technique classes, ensemble playing, guitar orchestra, student concerts, individual lessons and solo masterclasses. Working with internationally acclaimed artists you will study in an ensemble group according to your level (Grade 2 and above). Includes a guitar open day and an evening concert series with performances by Pavel Steidl, Vincent Lindsey-Clark, Gaelle Solal and the Katona Twins. Bursaries are available for 16 to 24 year old students - please contact the Bookings Office for further details. Amanda Cook

Amanda dubbed "the 'guitar queen' with a silken touch" by The Independent. A much loved teacher, soloist and member of the critically acclaimed Vida Guitar Quartet.

Andrew Gough

Andrew Gough (Guitar Festival Director) is head of guitar at the Birmingham Conservatoire Junior Department and also teaches at The Blue Coat School and King Edward's School, Birmingham.

Craig Ogden

Craig is one of the UK's most recorded guitarists, including five Classic FM No.1 albums in the UK classical chart. Head of Guitar at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.

Liz Larner

Liz is a concert guitarist with a special interest in chamber music. Royal Shakespeare Company musician, tutor & coordinator for the National Youth Guitar Ensemble.

Pavel Steidl

Pavel is a celebrated international concert artist, who has entertained audiences with his unique artistry in over forty countries. A highly respected tutor and thoughtful composer for the guitar.

Trond Davidsen

Trond is a highly experienced tutor from Norway. Soloist and member of the wonderful Arctic Guitar Trio.

Vincent Lindsey-Clark

English guitarist Vincent Lindsey-Clark is well known for his compositions for the instrument. He writes music for both students and professionals, much of which, has been used extensively by the major exam boards and performed all round the world.
