It is possible to create a garden that includes interest all year around with the use of various types of plants including trees, shrubs, bulbs, climbers and perennials. You will be introduced to the principles of planting design, including the use of structural and seasonal planting and how to select plants for their foliage as well as flowers.


Rosie Yeomans

Rosie has been teaching horticulture for many years and works freelance writing for Gardeners' World Magasine, is a guest panellist on BBC Radio 4's Gardeners' Question Time and a regular on the BBC Radio Solent 'The Good Life Programme'. Rosie is a keen allotment gardener and a National Collection Coordinator for the conservation charity Plant Heritage.
