As the vegetable garden begins to wind down for the season there is still plenty to do. Rosie will discuss the importance of soil preparation, winter crop sowing, buying seed for the spring and planting and pruning fruit. There will be a mixture of hands on practical demos and classroom based lectures.
Rosie has been teaching horticulture for many years and works freelance writing for Gardeners' World Magasine, is a guest panellist on BBC Radio 4's Gardeners' Question Time and a regular on the BBC Radio Solent 'The Good Life Programme'. Rosie is a keen allotment gardener and a National Collection Coordinator for the conservation charity Plant Heritage.
