Last year Margaret Jones, currently studying toward a Postgraduate Diploma in Tapestry & Textile Art, was shortlisted by the American Tapestry Alliance for their Student Award. As well as being awarded free annual membership, Margaret was also asked to write about her weaving, an article that has been published on the Alliance's website.* * *
Former student on the Painting and Drawing Programe, Pippa Blake, is exhibiting 'No one waiting for me' (oil on canvas, 183 x 122 cms) at the Royal College of Art , Kensington as part of the National Open Art Competition between October 25th and November 7th 2013 (open daily - 10am - 5pm, Sunday 11am - 4pm)

George Charman, a regular Visiting Artist to the full-time programmes in the Visual Arts department, and an upcoming Artist-in-Residence in early 2014, announces a solo show at the Centre for Recent Drawing. George will be exhibiting a series of new graphite powder drawings between November 7th and December 7th.
