Joanna Veevers -

Joanna Veevers' initial degree was in Printed Textiles followed by an MA(RCA) in Ceramics. Her creative practice involves making ceramic wall pieces, tiles and mosaics. All her work concerns surface design and drawing and tends to be subject or site specific and has narrative qualities. Joanna uses a technique with strong printmaking parallels, painting and casting with slips from plaster moulds, thus achieving exceptionally fine detail.

Jose Heroys - Fibre Artist -

Jose makes life-like birds and sculptural art from wool yarns, natural fibres and carded fleece. Inspired by her deep love of birds and nature, she captures a sense of aliveness and play in her work, using a combination of crochet, needle-felt and embroidery techniques to bring her birds to life. Each handcrafted piece is unique and every bird is finished with an individually numbered leg ring.

Justine Allison -

Since leaving Camberwell College of Art in 1998 Justine has been working solely with hand built porcelain, creating semi functional pieces. Her work is very much concerned with the simplicity and beauty of the clay and incorporating pattern and texture as well as glaze to create subtle, unique variations. Thinness and movement are very important in each piece.

Karen Parker Jewellery -

Like many artisans, organic shapes and forms inspire Karen's work, in particular botanical and aquatic pods, her new collection is based on oyster and mussel shells. Working predominantly in silver and occasionally gold, enhancing the beauty and individuality of the piece by forging, embossing and reticulating the metal, often giving part of a piece a contrasting surface texture.
