Press release: West Dean Gardens offer the perfect Mother’s Day gift that lasts all spring

With Mother's Day coming up soon on Sunday March 31 2019, West Dean Gardens near Chichester are offering an extra special Mother's Day gift that will last a season!

All mums will receive a bunch of daffodils and a free Spring Pass* worth £19, for unlimited Gardens entry until 31 May 2019 (excluding Arts and Craft Festival).

On Mother's Day, the gardens will be open from 9am - 5pm, and while you are there, you could treat your mother to a delicious lunch or West Dean cream tea.

You can book your tickets online. Visit the Visitors' Centre at the entrance to collect your complimentary daffodils and Spring Pass on Mother's Day.

*Terms and conditions apply: one free Spring Pass can be claimed 9am-4.30pm on Sunday 31 March by each Mum paying the full admission ticket price only, while stocks last. Full Spring Pass terms and conditions also apply.

West Dean offers a diverse range of gift ideas:

• There are plenty of gift ideas for mums in the Gardens Shop - browse the plants, jewellery, accessories and other unique gifts. West Dean is a unique day out and, as well as the gardens, offers a wealth of creativity and inspiration - which could make a memorable Mother's Day gift.

• West Dean College of Arts and Conservation offers a wide variety of short courses that make unique gift experiences, ranging from Willow basketmaking - for garden produce with acclaimed contemporary basket maker Mary Butcher (July 1-4) to Signwriters' skills - Roman lettering for beginners with Robin Abbey (May 7-10).
