West Dean College of Arts and Conservation and West Dean Gardens near Chichester, West
Sussex will be holding a variety of Christmas-related short courses in November and December.

Christmas Short Courses

There will be 14 one-day Christmas-related short courses. These include several new courses
for 2019 such as Botanical Christmas card in pen and watercolour with botanical artist Sandrine Maugy
(November 1, £148); Modern brush calligraphy – festive metallic with leading contemporary
calligrapher Kirsten Burke (November 7, £143); Small mosaic decorations (November 7, £148);
Creative festive papercutting (November 27, £133) as well as hugely popular courses such as Silver
Christmas themed earrings with Sarah Macrae (December 10, £150) and Making coloured glass
Christmas decorations with Carole Gray (December 15, £158).

While at West Dean, it’s worth visiting the Gardens shop – which is brimming with unique Christmas present ideas you won’t find on the high street - as well as decorations, cards and gift wrapping
paper. Or give an experience and buy a voucher for a Gardens visit with afternoon tea.

Christmas Meals

The Gardens Restaurant will be offering a delicious traditional three course Christmas lunch on Mondays-Fridays between December 2-20, 2019.

As well as that, there is the opportunity for Christmas lunches and dinners for group bookings of 10-90 guests in the impressive State Rooms between November 22 – December 22, 2019 (see photo). Contact 01243 818258 or email [email protected].
