West Dean College of Arts and Conservation has an international reputation for excellence and is a full partner of the University of Sussex. The online open days sessions cover a variety of subjects including Conservation Studies (Graduate Diploma and MA); Fine Art (Graduate Diploma and MFA); Art and Contemporary Crafts (Diploma); Art and Design (Foundation Diploma); Clocks, Metals, Furniture and Musical Instruments (Foundation Degree Arts, subject to revalidation) and Creative Writing and Publishing (MA). Available in both the morning, 10am-12.15pm, or the evening, 5-7.15pm, the free sessions will enable prospective students to meet some of the tutors and discuss study options; ask specific questions about the subject or course; chat with current students about student life to find out what it's really like; and find out about funding through scholarships or bursaries. After registering, further information will be sent by email with a link to access the session. Virtual Tours are also available online now for students to explore the specialist facilitates including science lab, materials workshops, forge, print room and dye room as well as the workshops and studios which are very much the heart of the College, with each student being allocated a personal bench or studio space for the duration of their course.

Francine Norris, Principal, commented: “We are very pleased to be able to offer new dates for our “Virtual” Open Days. Alongside virtual and video tours, a variety of staff and students will be available to chat to interested students and convey a real sense of the fascinating courses and opportunities on offer at the College.”
