Tim Andrews Teapot

Tim Andrews

Tim has taught around the world for over thirty years - workshops, lecturing, FE & HE. He trained originally with David Leach and at Dartington. Tim exhibits internationally - most recently in Japan, China and Australia. He is the author of two books on Raku ceramics, is fellow of the CPA and honorary President of the West Country Potters Association.

My approach to teaching is as an enabler - to help students find a personal sense of direction as much as technical expertise, and to be sensitive to individual ways of learning.

My work is informed by incremental development alongside more conscious decisions and step changes. These often happen following travel experiences, teaching and exhibiting abroad.
