Susan Mumford

Susan Mumford (MA FRSA MInstSMM, Art World Specialist) is an entrepreneur, mentor, author & speaker with art world specialism. While a London gallerist, she founded the Association of Women Art Dealers (2010). She then started Be Smart About Art (2012) to provide ongoing support for art professionals in a rapidly changing industry.

Describe your approach to teaching.

My teaching centres on engaged, participatory learning. This enables participants to ask questions and to actively contribute. The result is increased memory retention of new ideas and clear take-away.
