Andy Moore

Andy Moore trained as a caligrapher with Open College of the Arts and University of Surrey. His varied teaching experience covers calligraphy and other areas. He is Secretary of Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen and regular participant in events such as Art in Action, Bovey Tracey Craft Fair and York National Book Fair.

Describe your approach to teaching:

I am friendly and helpful, recognising and respecting that people come to workshops with different levels of ability and experience and with different expectations.

What inspires your own work?

My own interests in art, architecture, history and literature have provided material and stimulus for much of my work.
