The West Dean garden and environment continues to be an inspiration for our photography courses, which often visit the wider local are, in particular the atmospheric coastal areas and the Sussex Downs.

Techniques includes: Digital photography and editing, Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom courses, Portraiture/portrait photography, Camera technique, Garden and Plant photography, Animation and Digital video editing. Software packages used include: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Elements and Adobe Lightroom.

Workshops and equipment
Digital photography courses are usually based in the College’s digital suite, equipped with eight PC workstations, which share scanning and printing facilities when required. Some courses are allocated an alternative base either in one of the Art Studios or in the Main House (both accessible by stairs or lift in most cases).
