Our Music programme offers a range of courses for complete beginners, keen amateurs and young professionals and are taught by leading musicians with considerable teaching experience.

Music areas studied at West Dean includes: Workshops for Singers, Guitar Ensemble and Ukelele playing, String Quartets, Viol consorts and weekends in Music Appreciation.
These courses are held in the College's well-equipped teaching rooms with excellent acoustics. Most include opportunities for informal performances by the students or short recitals by the tutors. Concerts open to the public are held in the old library, or the Sussex Barn and West Dean Church.
