Explore your ideas for a piece of jewellery in silver and be guided by the tutor through the designing and making process. You begin by communicating your concept in simple drawings. You then learn a range of techniques in general fabrication, surface decoration (including roller-printing and etching) and finishing and polishing, mostly on a one-to-one basis. The course begins with an inspirational lecture on jewellery including the diverse work of contemporary studio jewellers.
