Dr Edward Winters Dr Ed Winters is a specialist in the aesthetics of the Visual Arts and a practising artist. He has both an M Phil and PhD in Philosophy, having studied at Portsmouth Polytechnic, the Slade School of Fine Art, Birkbeck College London and University College London. Dr Winters was a Senior Lecturer in Aesthetics at the University of Westminster before joining West Dean and his research interests include representation, imagination, painting, architecture, philosophy of mind and Wittgenstein.
Pat Taylor Pat Taylor is a member of the index of selected makers with the British
Crafts Council.
Her work hangs in institutions in several countries such as The Palace
of Westminster
and Great Ormond Street Hospital in London and Chicago University in the
USA. Widely
exhibited, Pat joined West Dean College in 1988 and has been a visiting
lecturer at
The Royal College of Art, an external examiner at Middlesex College of
Art and a
course advisor at Winchester College of Art. As well as teaching at West
Dean,
Pat is the Director of the West Dean Professional Tapestry Studio which
accepts
both public and private commissions.
