Fruit from the walled fruit garden

WALLED FRUIT GARDEN

Don't miss the pear arch, festooned with over 50 upright cordons. Around the walls you will notice a wide range of wall-trained fruit - pear, apple and plums, many varieties of which are 'old' and unusual. Notice how the fruit trees are being trained in the shape of goblet, dome or challice frameworks - very much a feature of Edwardian Gardens.

Throughout the summer, there are various garden events at which we display our wonderful collections of fruit and vegetables.
