19 April 2009 2.30pm Piano music of France and Spain £10 John Clegg's name will be familiar to those who have listened to BBC Radio 3 over the years. He studied with Herbert Fryer and after three years at Jesus College Cambridge made his London debut in 1951. He has toured widely as an International concert pianist and was Pianist-in-residence at Lancaster University before his retirement. Saturday 7 March 2009 8pm - 10pm A poetry evening with Wills, Davies and Thorpe An evening of poetry bringing together three of Britains most diverse voices. Jackie Wills, John Davies and Lorna Thorpe create a dynamic line-up in reading and talking about their work.
In addition, Jackie Wills will be running a Poetry Workshop from 11am 4pm on Saturday 7 March for anyone wanting to try out various starting points for writing poetry. The workshop will be a mixture of writing exercises, reading and sharing work written during the day.
