Summer Schools

Summer Schools are both a creative and social highlight of the West Dean calendar enjoyed by both students and tutors. They offer students a chance to explore and experiment in depth in their chosen subject whilst enjoying the relaxed environment that West Dean is renowned for.

Each six-day course allows time for students to work intensively. Students also have the opportunity to share ideas and experiences with like-minded people on the other courses running at the same time.

The Summer Schools give students the option to stay at the magnificent West Dean House and enjoy its award-winning Gardens and the local area, with organised trips to local art venues such as the newly opened Pallant House Gallery.
