The opportunity to explore the various techniques and materials used in this subject is the strength of our programme in sculpture. The traditional techniques of modelling with clay from life and stone carving continue to be popular, as well as mould making and working with steel.

Workshops and equipment

Courses are either held in the Stone room, the Pottery or the Main Workshop on the ground floor of the College. They are well equipped with modelling stands and work benches. Metalworking courses take place in the Forge.
