Metalworking

In this section particular emphasis is laid on the development of practical skills as the foundation for creativity. Courses for complete beginners are included in all subjects. We also offer a range of courses aimed at developing those skills, either in a specific process or by providing the opportunity to work on individual projects with expert guidance.

Workshops and equipment

The College has dedicated workshops for its metalworking courses. Blacksmithing takes place in the Forge which is five minutes walk from the main College and has individual work stations for eight students. All tools are supplied and the power hammer is popular with all students.
