The courses in this section cover a wide variety of materials and techniques and offer students the opportunity to gain satisfaction from learning traditional skills within a contemporary context. • Papermaking and paper marbling Workshops and equipmentLettercutting, papermaking, paper marbling and some bookbinding courses are based in the Main Workshop on the ground floor, or in adjacent workshops. Other bookbinding courses and all calligraphy courses take place in Art Studios 1 or 2, both reached by stairs or a stair-lift. Specialist equipment, tools and materials are available at the College for all these crafts. |
