Creative Writing
Creativity is at the heart of these courses, releasing the power of the imagination, unblocking the images the writer sees 'behind their eyes'. On the majority of courses, writers of all levels of experience are welcome, although some are specifically designed for more experienced authors. Each course can be taken on its own or as part of a series. Most courses are run by Greg and Kate Mosse, both successful writers and extremely experienced teachers. Kate is the author of the bestsellers Labyrinth and Sepulchre. She read English at New College, Oxford. She is co-founder of the Orange Prize for Fiction and currently presents Radio 4's 'A Good Read'. Greg Mosse graduated in English and Drama from Goldsmiths' College, University of London. He has published works of history, science fiction, children's stories and literary translation. Teaching facilitiesCourses take place in the King's Room, a well-equipped teaching room on an upper floor in the Main House. Students should bring their own laptops if they have them. The College's Computer Suite will be available for these courses.
