Why Tapestry?

A tapestry may mark a special occasion in an institution’s history, celebrate the construction of a new building or provide an innovative approach to patient care. They may add a new, colourful dimension to a space, soften a harsh surface, improve acoustics or insulate a cool interior.

Tapestry gives a depth of colour and texture that other mediums fail to offer. The weavers work with multiple strands of yarn to create a depth to their weaving that is very unique to this Studio. Tapestry can be vast in scale or sit in the palm of your hand. The woven image is seductive and romantic bringing individuality to any interior space: home, office, board room or public building.
