Chilli Fiesta 6, 7 & 8 August 2010

With a record 19,000 visitors over three days, this year's chilli fiesta was hot, hot, hot!

This year's show was the best yet! With over 19,000 visitors the fiesta was truly swinging. From pretty pottery to fiery food, from Mexican minstrels to performing puppets – there was something for everyone! Our very own Sarah Wain also took to the stage for several chilli growing demos, decked in her usual fantastic finery!
The new Wine Theatre proved to be a big hit with each tasting session fully subscribed. Visitors also welcomed the extended site plan with larger beer and music tents, and more seating areas on the Front Lawn, plus the new online booking facility which gave customers discounted and fast-track tickets.
Plans are already underway for next year's fiesta with talk of 2 and 3-day tickets. Email communications@westdean.org.uk and be the first to receive details of the 2011 Chilli Fiesta. Bring it on companeros!
