Creative Making projects

Alongside the opportunities for festival goers to Get Making you will see others artists at work and the artworks created for the Festival.

Site Specific Installation Art

Three West Dean visual art students have been selected to create unique site specific art works for the Festival. The project is being managed by artist Emma Dexter and offers an inspirational challenge for the students. These finished art works will be located within the grounds as a celebration of the spirit of the Festival. The three artists creating the works are Anni Onsager, Magenta Gang and Richard Barnes.

The West Dean Festival will celebrate all aspects of the arts. It's a festival where people can come together to share their love of making music, ideas, performance, dance, film, storytelling, cooking and eating. All taking place in a breathtaking setting in the rolling South Downs near Chichester.
