The two shows will present work by fourteen exciting international artists, working across a diverse range of media including drawing, painting, sculpture, tapestry and textile art, film and installation.
All exhibitors study across West Dean College’s various Visual Arts programmes, which include Graduate and Postgraduate Diplomas as well as Master of Fine Arts courses.
This is the first time that students from West Dean have taken their End of Year Show to London. They are teaming up with Free Range, a project based in The Old Truman Brewery that provides graduating students and creative practitioners a London showcase for their work, to both the public and industry. Attracting visitor numbers to rival the largest art events, the annual Free Range exhibitions present the work of art and design students from all over the country. Both shows will provide an opportunity for audiences to discover and invest in original art and the newest talent before they launch themselves fully into the public arena.
