Make Your Own Wedding Rings
With this ring, I thee wed... what could be more romantic than giving and receiving a ring that you have made for each other.
The rings that you’ll make on this one day course at West Dean College will remain with you as a symbol of your love and commitment to one another.
You can either re-use jewellery or metal that you may already have – from a sentimental and meaningful source, or purchased metal at your own specification.
With just the two of you working together, you are guided, step by step in the processes of casting, wire drawing, forming, soldering, filing, finishing and polishing to produce wedding rings that are individual and eternally yours.
Images of the process can be seen on the College's Make Your Own Wedding Rings page
Hall marking and engraving on request.
Fee: £300 for the day for both of you (including lunch, but excluding materials)
