What will students gain if they come on one of your courses?The knowledge they will need to be able to go away and carry on making on their own.
Are there any particular techniques/processes you use in your teaching?Wire Crochet, Wire knitting with 2 needles, and Wire knitting on a spool.
What inspires your own work?I am inspired by textiles, pattern, geometry, architectural and sculptural forms
Where can students see examples of your work?On my website. Also, I sell work through 10 galleries in the UK - including Flow Gallery in London, Roger Billcliffe Gallery in Glasgow and Baroque Gallery in Brighton. I exhibit with the touring Dazzle Exhibitions throughout the year. I am based at Cockpit Arts, Holborn, London - we have Open Studios twice a year.
Where did you gain your training/experience?I have a First Class BA in Graphic Design - my jewellery course was at an adult education centre, part of Kensington; Chelsea College, London where I studied part-time for 3 years achieving LOCN Levels 1,2,3.
What teaching experience have you had?I teach a regular class on Crocheting Wire Jewellery at Cockpit Arts in Holborn, London.
