My teaching is organised, informal and positive! I want people to go away feeling that they have risen to a standard they did not think they could achieve whilst enjoying themselves.
What will students gain if they come on one of your courses?More understanding and enjoyment of music of all kinds
What inspires your own work?Enthusiastic performances from people who clearly enjoy making music, whatever the period, instruments or genre.
Where did you gain your training? Experience?

I also have private pupils. I am a national conductor for the Society of Recorder Players. I run a local community choir and conduct the Eastern Recorder Orchestra (standard Grade 6+).
Books and articles:I have had arrangements and compositions published.
