I use whichever technique is most safe and appropriate for the student and the situation.

What inspires your own work?

The quest for perfection.

Where did you gain your training/experience?

From working in a wide variety of carpentry related situations. I have a bench joinery NVQ and a Certificate in Education.

What teaching experience have you had?

I am currently teaching carpentry at City College Brighton & Hove.

Is your work in any public or private collections?

Mostly in numerous domestic, shop and office locations. Possibly landfill also.

Have you written any books/had articles published?

I've had many woodworking projects published in various magazines, plus a recent TV appearance on Channel 4's Titanic – The Mission.

Do you belong to any professional groups/societites?

No.
