My approach to teaching is open and relaxed whilst pushing every possible outlet of creativity through the individuality of each student. I like to encourage my students to take risks in a confident and competent way whilst inspiring them to open their minds to new ideas and processes.
What will students gain if they come on one of your courses?Students will gain confidence, a sense of humour when making work and an ability to realise their own creative potential.
Are there any particular techniques/processes you use in your teaching?Digital and physical collage techniques, contemporary approaches and processes to making 3 dimensional work, personal support, references to the work of others either through book, magazines or the internet.
What inspires your own work?The work of others, the day to day, my surroundings, stories, overheard snippets of conversations, historical references true or otherwise, historical and contemporary collections, sounds. Everything really.

What teaching experience have you had?I am a part – time lecturer in an FE Institution teaching 17+ age group students for almost seven years. I have also taught on adult leisure learning courses.
Is your work in any public or private collections?2010 Wilmore House Work acquired by Paul Wilson for The Mag Collection Arts Council England National Head Quarters representing the Eastern region, sole artist curated by Axis, London Work in many private collections.
