What will students gain if they come on one of your courses?

They will have good time, take a sideways look at the world of mechanical toys, and gain confidence in working with a range of materials.

Are there any particular techniques/processes you use in your teaching?

We use a variety of materials, wire, wood, metal & treat them with gay abandon.

What inspires your own work?

Sam Smith, Ron Fuller, Edward Bawden, folk Toys from around the world. The work of all unnamed makers.

Where did you gain your training/experience?

Buckinghamshire College of Higher Education. BA hons 3d design Hereford college of Art diploma in Small Studio Practice.

What teaching experience have you had?

West Dean, Parnham Summer School, Loughborough Foundation Course visiting lecturer, Hitchcocks, Primary schools and Private students.

Is your work in any public or private collections?

The Egg theatre Bath, Hove museum, London Aquarium, Arima toy Museum, Japan. Many private collections.
