I am keen for students to develop their own work after showing them a few techniques and ways to make things faster. I believe that having everyone, even complete beginners make different pieces, stimulates the whole group and helps people discover new ideas

What will students gain if they come on one of your courses?

They will get a good introduction to the endless possibilities jewellery making offers

Are there any particular techniques/processes you use in your teaching?

I use very basic traditional ways to make jewellery, with emphasis on how to save time wherever possible

What inspires your own work?

The urban environment that surrounds me, the stones I choose to work with, the colours of summer in my native Greece

Where can students see examples of your work?

My work is widely available on the internet, in many galleries in the Uk, at the Goldsmiths’ fair, Art in Action, and many exhibitions.

Where did you gain your training? Experience?

I have a BA (hons) degree from Middlesex University .

Teaching experience:

I tought for ten years in many adult education institutes, also worked on individual projects at Sir John Cass College of Art, and Morley College.

Is your work in any public or private collections?

My work is with the collections of the Goldsmiths Company, the Crafts Council, Stafford Art Gallery

Have you written any books/had articles published?

My work is featured in many British and US publications, but I have not written a book myself
