My teaching is relaxed, inspiring and encouraging - I encourage students to take risks and work in a personal way.
What will students gain if they come on one of your courses?Students will develop their creativity and extend their imagination and become more aware of colour and design. They'll also gain insight into my working approach and methods.
Are there any particular techniques/processes you use in your teaching?Always the direct approach!
What inspires your own work?Everything! Especially nature.

Where did you gain your training/experience?
BFA from Syracuse Universuty, USA and a two week course with Archie Brennan.
What teaching experience have you had?I teach for half a day a week in a male prison.
Is your work in any public or private collections?The crafts council, V and A Museum, Northampton Shoe Museum, Contemporary Arts Society, Eastern Arts and Southern Arts.
Have you written any books/had articles published?I have had many articles published. Medieval Needlepoint, Romantic Needlepoint, Mosiacs with Kaffe Fassett and Candace Bahouth. I have another mosiac book planned with Ebory.
