What will students gain if they come on one of your courses?An understanding of controlled movement of metal and 3D thinking through practice.
Are there any particular techniques/processes you use in your teaching?Hands on teaching and practice supported by demo’s and a few interesting facts!
What inspires your own work?The visual and physical harmony between structure and form, found mostly within nature and architecture.

Where did you gain your training/experience?HND at UCA Rochester (then Kent Institute of Art & Design), MA Degree at the Royal College of Art (RCA)
What teaching experience have you had?15years in higher education teaching at 3 major UK Universities; including Central Saint Martins, Loughbourough University and currently at London Metropolitan University. As well as numerous short course programmes at FE colleges.
Is your work in any public or private collections?The P&O Makower Silver Trust collection in the 21st C Silver Gallery in the V&A Museum. Millenium Clock installation in the foyer of Craft Central, Clerkenwell. Plus private collections.
Have you written any books/had articles published?I am currently working on a technical book, all will be revealed in summer 2010.
Do you belong to any professional groups/societites?Bishopsland Trust Senior Fellow, Alumni RCA, Craft Central Fellow (previously CGA), CMI member (Chartered Management Institute).
