Summer Sampler Weekend: 3 - 5 June 2011
Following on from the success of last year's weekend we are running the Summer Sampler Weekend again, giving your the opportunitty to try out four craft skills over two days. Sample four new techniques and processes, taking home four finished items.

Explore the possibilities of fusing colourful glass, making a coaster and cabochons to form an item of jewellery.

Make a silver ring with surface texture by using hammers and punches to your own individual pattern.

Create several prints from a two-colour linocut block on a range of beautiful papers.

Make a small woodcarving from a pre-cut wooden blank, burnishing the finished work with wax polish.

Experiment with a number of different techniques of enamelling on copper and make an enamel badge or maybe two.
